Hospital unit cars were used during World War II to supply immediate needs for medical help and proper care-units for transporting patients. Used successfully during World War I, these cars were modified for use in World War II. Side doors were added for easier patient loading and a small operating room.
This set represents a World War II hospital unit used in the United States. This set is made and packaged only for IHC & RAILROAD RON
